How we started
In 1949 Glenn Clagg went to work at a saw shop in Pasadena, California. After working there a few years he bought the company. Then in 1970, after spending four years in the Navy and 2 tours of duty in Vietnam, Dennis Clagg went to work for his father in the family business. Seven years later, Glenn decided to move back to his roots in Oklahoma, where he established Claremore Industrial Tool Company. Dennis and his brother-in-law bought the business from his father in Pasadena and continued to operate it until 1984. In that year Dennis sold the business in California and rejoined his father in Oklahoma. Then, in 1987, Glenn retired and Dennis, again, bought the family business from his father. Dennis was joined by a third generation Clagg, his son Jonathan, in 1990 and they continue to work together today.
